The State of World Fisheries and Aquaculture (SOFIA) is the FAO-Fisheries Department's premier advocacy document. It is published every two years with the purpose of providing policy-makers, civil society and those who derive their livelihood from the sector a comprehensive, objective and global view of capture fisheries and aquaculture, including associated policy issues.
 

On this site we will find references of reviews and books on fishing and aquaculture. The research keys are the following: author, title or domain (commercial fishing and fisheries, ecology and Oceanography, Aquaculture) and under domains. A "key word" research tool is also available.

Fins, the newsletter of ACCOBAMS, brings to you twice a year news about the Agreement, about cetacean conservation in the Agreement area  in general, and about the cetacean conservation community at large.

This journal is edited by the French Society of Ichthyology. The articles published related to general, fundamental or aplicated  ichthyology, about freshwater and marine fishes, living or fossils. Some articles are about Mediterranean species. On this site we will find bibliographic references to the published articles,  together with an abstract in French and English. The site also includes abstracts of thesis and other analysis of different works.
