Objective

Harmonize the sampling operations in the areas concerned with shared stocks between at least two countries.

With this aim, meetings have been organized, during which the national sampling networks were presented. There is an important heterogeneity, between the species as well as the fisheries concerned.
During a workshop which should take place at the end of September / beginning of October in Sète (France), the programs related to the development of the standardized sampling systems focused on the shared stocks of interest will be defined.

We will find here below the main fisheries that could be concerned with such sampling standardization programs:
