In order to facilitate the exchange of data between the different national
focal points, the project has financed the necessary hardware and software for the concerned
institutions of Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Malta and soon Algeria.
The project promotes the use of the efficient electronic means of
communication provided by the INTERNET: Email, WEB. As well as the development of one's own
WEB site, the project has installed an FTP Server.
COPEMED is maintening a database about the Research Means of the region
in the domain of Fisheries Science: institutions and their priorities, research projects, experts,
documents and results produced, scientific networks.
